Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Typetech IT and the company or person that uses Workdesk Pro. By creating a workspace you accept them.

The service

Workdesk Pro is a desktop app and online service for tasks, time tracking, attendance, leave, payroll and project profit. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a core feature you pay for without notice.

Free trial

  • A new workspace gets 3 months free with every Pro feature. A card is needed to start.
  • We do not charge the card during the trial, and we do not charge it automatically when the trial ends.
  • We remind the workspace's admins halfway through the trial and 7 days before it ends.
  • If you don't upgrade, the workspace becomes read-only: you can still view and export your data.

Subscription and billing

  • Pro costs 9 USD per person a month billed monthly, or 7 USD per person a month billed yearly.
  • You are billed for the people in your workspace.
  • You can cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the period already paid.
  • Enterprise plans are set out in a separate order form, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

Your data

Your company owns the data in its workspace. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter information about your team, and for your admins' use of pay, attendance and HR data.

Acceptable use

  • Keep your sign-in details safe, and use two-factor sign-in for admin accounts.
  • Don't try to reach another workspace's data, break or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
  • Don't use Workdesk Pro for anything unlawful.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Workdesk Pro available and your data safe, but the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Workdesk Pro and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or is unpaid, after telling its admins.
