Who we are

This website

• Usage statistics. We measure page views and page speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.
• Contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, email, company, team size and message, and use them only to reply. The message is delivered to us by email through Resend.
• Theme. Your light or dark choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

The Workdesk Pro app

When your company uses Workdesk Pro, the workspace holds the information your team puts into it:

• Account details: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo and two-factor settings.
• Work data: tasks, comments, projects, clients and tracked time, including when timers started and stopped and why.
• Docs: their text, folders, images, earlier versions and AI chats, stored encrypted.
• HR data entered by your admins: employee details, attendance, leave, pay rates and payroll.
• Sign-in records: the devices, apps and IP addresses of active sessions, so you can see and end them.
• Billing details for the workspace's subscription. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

The app never takes screenshots or records the screen. To keep timers honest it notices whether the computer is awake and whether there has been keyboard or mouse activity; it does not record what you type or click.

The AI assistant is turned on only when your workspace's admins add an AI model with the workspace's own key. When someone in your workspace uses it, the selected text or the doc and the conversation are sent to the AI provider those admins chose, under that provider's terms. We send nothing to an AI provider unless a person asks the assistant.

Your company is the controller of its workspace data and decides what goes into it. We process it on your company's behalf to run the service, and each workspace is kept apart from every other.

How we use information

• To provide, secure and support Workdesk Pro.
• To send the emails the service needs: sign-in codes, invitations, reminders and trial notices.
• To bill the subscription and meet legal and accounting duties.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use workspace data for advertising.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep workspace data while the workspace exists. When a trial ends without an upgrade the workspace becomes read-only and its data is kept so you can export it. Ask us to delete a workspace or your account at info@typetechit.com.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, to correct it or to delete it. If your company manages your account, we may refer your request to them. Email info@typetechit.com.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date, and tell workspace admins by email about important changes.
